Reap in the benefits of tea tree and lavender essential oils and transform your daily shower into a spa experience with these easy DIY Shower Steamers.
I’m sure you have heard of bath bombs before, but you might not be as familiar with what a Shower Steamer is. They are actually very similar, and made with some of the same ingredients, but rather than placing them in the tub, you place a shower steamer on the floor of the shower. The water activates the steamer and the vapors from the essential oils are released with the steam, and your shower will be filled with the wonderful aroma of tea tree and lavender.
So, if you are one of those people that just prefers a shower to a bath, you are going to love being able to take part in the benefits of aromatherapy! They also make perfect gifts for family and friends!

Tips for Using your DIY Shower Steamers
- Please do not use it the same as a bath bomb. This recipe uses a decent amount of essential oils that could irritate the skin if placed in a bath.
- Be sure to place the steamer on the floor of our shower where it will get wet, but not drenched.
- If your steamer outlasts your shower, just push it over to the corner out of the way for your next shower.
- Please be aware that the steamers being on the floor could pose a slipping/tripping hazard. Always be cautious of where you place it in your shower, especially if using with kids. You might want to use a shower mat. Also be sure to wipe out the shower to make sure it’s not slick for the next person.
