I’m Greta. Some of you may know me from How Was Your Day? I’ve always loved exploring fashion, beauty, and design, and I still blog about those things. But lately, I’ve found myself drawn to something new: the way the economy, retail trends, and everyday financial shifts affect how we live, shop, and express ourselves.
From inflation’s impact on lipstick prices to the rise of quiet luxury and budget-savvy style hacks, I believe real-world money matters and personal style are more connected than we think. My take? You can still look and feel great without breaking the bank — especially when you know how to read between the retail lines.
My personal take on beauty and fashion is to work with what you’ve got. Size is just a number, and it’s gonna vary from brand to brand. If you feel comfortable in your own skin, flattering fit and fashion will follow.
About me:
I’m a 20-something west coast native now living in the Midwest. We’ve lived everywhere from slightly north of the Mexican Border to just south of the Canadian Border. We even spent a few years in the tropics.
These experiences and environments have shaped me to be the person I am today. I’m free spirited, easy going, and always on the lookout for adventure. My tastes are very eclectic, as is my personal style. I love color and am not afraid to use it.
