These adult-only Blue Raspberry Jello Shots are guaranteed to be a big hit for any party! Cool and refreshing, these boozy treats are the perfect choice for the grown-ups!

Jello shots are always a great option for parties, whether it’s for a birthday or a summer BBQ. And whenever I’m hosting, I always try to make sure I have plenty of adult-friendly options, like my Blackberry Basil Sparkler Cocktail, Pink Prickly Pear Margaritas and of course easy Jello shots.

This Blue Raspberry Jello Shot is the best Jello shot recipe! It requires only three ingredients, making them super easy to make. And like most Jello shots, they are perfect for making ahead of time, making them a great time saver on party day!

How to Make Blue Raspberry Jello Shots

Jello Shots are just the kid-classic treat made with a kick that have become a party staple. Requiring minimal ingredients and time, these shots are going to be impossible to resist.

Ingredients:

ingredients needed for recipe

  • 1 box Blue Jell-O
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups Blue Raspberry Vodka
  • blue raspberry gummy candies, optional

Directions:

vodka being poured from bottle into a sauce pan

  • Bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat and add in the Jell-O powder. Stir until the powder is completely dissolved. Stir in the Vodka.

  • Fill your condiment cups or shot glasses with the Jello Vodka mixture. Place in the fridge and allow to set completely. Prior to serving, top with a blue raspberry gummy candy, if desired.

Tips For Making the Best Shots:

  • Place your plastic containers on a sheet pan prior to filling them. This makes it much easier to place the shots in the fridge to set.
  • Use a measuring spoon or a pitcher with a thin spout to pour the Jello evenly into the containers
  • Make sure your Jello mixture is cool enough before adding in the vodka so that it doesn’t burn off when it’s added. Don’t add the vodka at the same time as you add the boiling water.
  • You can also make a tray of spiked Jello (thinking boozy Jell-O Jigglers) rather than using containers. Any baking pan with sides will work. Gently fill the baking pan with the Jello, allow to set, and then cut into portions

How Long Do Jello Shots Last?

Similar to regular Jello, the shots can be stored in the fridge for about a week. Much longer and they will start to change in texture and flavor. If you are wanting to make them in advance for an event, I would make them maybe a day or two before.
