Well, it’s finally happening. True Blood is coming to an end. I never thought that it would end – at least I was hoping not. How am I watching? With a couple of  True Blood inspired cocktails, of course. Make one of these to celebrate the beginning of the end of one of the guiltiest pleasures on TV.

Kiss-of-Death-cocktail

Kiss of Death

  •    1 part Hornitos® Plata Tequila
  •    1 part concord grape juice
  •    ½ part lemon juice

Preparation: Add ingredients to glass over ice and stir.

Blood Red

  •   1 part Hornitos® Plata Tequila
  •   1 part DeKuyper® Pucker® Cherry Schnapps liqueur
  •   Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish

Preparation: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir over ice to chill. Strain into a shot glass or cocktail glass rimmed with chocolate shavings. Top with whipped cream.

Will you be toasting with one of these True Blood inspired cocktails?

I’m not sure if I’m doing anything on the 4th. But I hope I get a chance to make these! With the addition of subscription service.

These are so refreshing looking too! I love the addition of the chocolate around the rim…really adds to the presentation. I’d sure have one of these to celebrate the 4th!

Oooh I love this idea, and that does look tasty! True Blood was one of my favorite shows I think from seasons 1 to 3 maybe, I’m wondering how many characters they’re gonna kill off! (Nooo Erik!)

The Kiss of Death drink looks like one that I would like to try. I like how pretty it looks and I bet it tastes delicious. I will have to make these for me and my sister.
