Now that I’ve hit the big 3-0, I’ve been trying to take better care of myself. One of those tasks includes taking better care of my skin. I’ve always played it fast and loose with my skincare routine, and while that has treated me fairly well up to this point in life, I know that I’m really just playing with fire. It’s only a matter of time before this lack of routine catches up with me.
To this point, Michael Todd True Organics recently sent me some new skincare products to test out.
Citrus Spray Hydrating Mist – You know how sometimes you just feel blah. Lots of times, especially when I’m working at the office, I notice that my skin is getting dried out from the heat and the processed, recirculated air. It’s enough to make a girl go insane! A couple of sprays of the Citrus Spray gives my skin , and my spirit, a little pick me up. The citrus essential oils are just enough to give me a little zing in my day. This doubles as a toner, too.
Avocado and Mango Hydrating Facial Mask – Designed to combat blemishes by unclogging pores, reducing bacteria, and healing the skin. With ingredients like mango butter, seaweed, aloe vera, and avocado, this feels amazing on your skin. This moisturizes, nourishes, and exfoliates all in one. This left my skin feeling refreshed.
Aloe & Cucumber Skin Loving Towelettes – I am a sucker for face cleansing towelettes. I love them so much! You can just reach in and grab one whenever you’re feeling grimy. The Aloe and Cucumber wipes feel good on your face, without feeling like it’s leaving a residue. Your face is just left feeling clean. They smell really good, too.
One of the other things that I really liked about the Michael Todd True Organics line was the fact that the products are made with mostly natural ingredients right here in the USA. Many of the line’s ingredients are certified organic and several items are certified vegan. They are paraben free and never test on animals, either.

I haven’t tried any of their products. But I do love the fact that the ingredients are things I know for the most part anyway!
