Introducing Frankie Rose Cosmetics

October 25, 2013 by Greta Brinkley 4 Comments

Sharing is caring!

Frankie Rose Cosmetics provided an assortment of items for editorial purposes.  Thoughts are my own.

I’ve always loved knowing about new, up and coming brands first.  Skin care, cosmetics, fashion, food, whatever, I like knowing {and sharing} about it first.  One of the new lines that I’ve been introduced to recently is Frankie Rose Cosmetics.

Frankie Rose Cosmetics is a full line of makeup, including makeup brushes.  The fine folks at Frankie Rose sent me an assortment of items to put together a full face.

First up was the 5 Shade Shadow palette in Down to Earth.  Down to Earth has 5 coordinating shades of eye shadow.

  1. Sparkle: A gorgeous candlelight shade.  Perfect as a highlighter.
  2. Vine: Luscious deep purple
  3. Pout: Shimmery lavender
  4. Rust: Perfect fawn brown shade with some shimmer.
  5. Java: Matte brown.  Great for lining and filling in your brows, as well.

The colors are rich, and blend well.  Four of the 5 shades have sparkle, albeit mostly subtle.  However, if that’s not something that you like, stay away.   The colors are richly pigmented, and go on so smoothly.  They blend really well, too.   My eyes are super sensitive, and I had no issues with any irritation.  That’s always a plus!

Next up was the Single Blush  in Starburst.  Starburst is a fantastic shimmering peach shade that is oh so flattering.  I looked for most of the year for the perfect peachy coral blush shade for my ultra fair complexion, and I do believe that my search is complete.  Starburst blends so well and just looks natural.

Finally, there was a Lip Gloss in Valentine.  Valentine is a vivid pink shade that’s not too bright.  It’s sort of between a bubblegum pink and a fuschia pink.  It was long wearing and wasn’t sticky at all.

Frankie Rose Cosmetics are on par with other similar mid-range to high end cosmetics.  They’re long wearing, blend well, and feel good on.  They can be purchased directly from the Frankie Rose Cosmetics site.

This is very nice Cosmetics by Frankie Rose. The colors are so bold and they look like they can really blend in well on the skin. I like the single blush in Starburst. I will have to take a look at this makeup!
