Introducing Belleme & Abbamart

There are so many brands of makeup, cosmetics, and skincare out there, from so many different parts of the world, that it can get a little mind-boggling.  One of the up and coming places in the realm of beauty is Korea!

Abbamart is one of those Korean based companies that’s making a splash.  They have two main divisions of their company – brushes and cosmetics. The makeup is marketed under the brand name of Belleme.

I recently had the opportunity to try out a few of these fab products.  First up was the makeup brushes.  I received an angled blush brush, a square fan highlighting brush, and a foundation brush.

Since I haven’t been using liquid foundation for the past several years, I decided I needed a foundation brush & opted for the large, full length brush.  While I normally prefer natural bristles, this brush has synthetic bristles  That’s okay, though, as I would have never known!  The brush is soooo soft and applies foundation beautifully.

Next up was the angled blush brush.  I adore this brush!  It seems to pick up the perfect amount of product, and sweep it on exactly where I want it.  I swear, it’s making me a better makeup putter-onner.

Last, was the square fan highlighting brush.  I admit, I haven’t used this yet.  I think it will be good for contouring, as well.

I didn’t have any shedding issues with the brushes, either.

I was also lucky enough to receive a Shimmer Base and a Finishing Powder from the Belleme line.  Even the packaging is super cute and kind of kitschy.

The Shimmer Base is like an illuminator, highlighter, and primer all in one.  Seriously, this stuff is like a miracle.  I used it under my foundation, and it gave me a great glowing, dewy look,  as well as making my foundation go on smoother.  It takes just a tiny little bit of product to get the gorgeous effects.  Well worth the $12!

Belleme’s Soft Control Finishing Powder also has a great effect.  It sets your makeup, but also brightens your complexion.  I thought that it created a good photo finish, as well.  It only comes in one shade, that works for most skin tones.  I’m pretty pale, and it worked for me without washing me out.

Belleme carries all kinds of cosmetics, from BB Creams to Eyeshadows to Lip Colors.  Next time you’re in the market for cosmetics, you have another place to consider – Belleme & Abbamart!
