Black Layer
- 2 packets unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- ½ cup chilled Pumpkin Pie Moonshine
- 2 drops black food coloring
Orange Layer
- 1 box orange Jello mix
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- ½ cup chilled spiced rum
Garnish & Supplies
- Toasted coconut (“hay”)
- Pumpkin-shaped candy
- 2 oz Condiment Cups with lids
Directions
Black Layer
- In a medium bowl, pour 1 cup of boiling water over the one of the packets of unflavored gelatin. Whisk until fully dissolved.
- Add ½ cup of cold water and ½ cup of Pumpkin Pie Moonshine. Mix well.
- Add 2 drops of black food coloring and whisk again.
- Pour the black gelatin mixture into your 2 oz condiment cups, filling each cup about ⅓ full.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour until set.
Orange Layer
- Dissolve the orange Jello mix in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir well until fully dissolved.
- Add ½ cup of cold water and ½ cup of spiced rum. Mix thoroughly.
- Carefully pour the orange layer over the set black layer in each cup, filling them another ⅓.
- Refrigerate for another hour until firm.
Second Black Layer
- Repeat the steps from the first black layer, preparing another batch of black gelatin.
- Pour this layer on top of the orange layer in each cup.
- Refrigerate for 1 more hour until fully set.
