Draper James
Draper James, the fashion brand founded by Reese Witherspoon, is known for their iconic American Southern style. Did you know that the brand also carries plus sizes in select items, and carries swimwear? You know what that means – Draper James has really great plus sized swimwear in cute prints and styles that are the same as their regular size lines. These are styles that you can actually swim and splash around in. Isn’t that what we’ve been asking for this whole time? Pair one of their swimsuits with a pair of sunglasses and a fabulous coverup and you’re ready to go.
Nomads Swimwear
Nomads Swimwear is a brand that features size inclusive swim and resort wear that’s also eco-friendly. The pieces are on trend, perhaps even a little fashion forward. There’s lots of cutouts, mesh, and modern styling that you often only find in higher end brands, not to mention the great colors and prints. Even better, most of the items are also reversible, so you get two looks in one piece. You can mix and match Nomads plus size swimwear to your heart’s content.
Because the swimwear pieces are reversible, they’re also fully lined and offer some extra support. Their items come in sizes XS – 5X, too, so there’s a fit for almost every body. Nomads also believes in sustainability and uses a fabric that decomposes in approximately 3 years but doesn’t affect the wearability or longevity of the garment.
Londre Bodywear
Londre Swimsuits have three main features – they’re size inclusive, eco-friendly and super sexy. These swimsuits show a lot of skin and tend to have a cheeky cut on the backside. Many styles also showcase your cleavage or have a very bare back. The colors and patterns are very sophisticated as well. It’s definitely a brand for those that want to make a splash.
Londre swimsuits have two layers of fabric and are fully lined. This means that here aren’t many peekaboo moments that you don’t want, and the suits aren’t sheer. It also gives them a little extra shaping power and support. The swimwear is made in an OEKO Tex 100 certified factory with fabric that uses recycled water bottles and reclaimed shellfish shells that are naturally anti-bacterial and odor resistant. Londre’s sizing runs from XS up to 5x.
City Chic
City Chic is a website that specializes in plus sized clothing, with sizes ranging from 12-24. They offer a vast selection of plus sized swimwear, in all shapes, styles and cuts. From maillot styles to tankinis, you can find pretty much any style of bathing suit here in trendy and stylish patterns, colors, and textures. Whether you want a two piece with cheeky bottoms or a high waisted bottom with a bit of a retro flair, there’s something for everyone, and it’s fairly affordable. City Chic also has a great selection of coverups, ranging from kimono style to mini dresses to long caftans.

We all know about Amazon. Amazon has everything, and that includes plus sized swimwear. There are several options, from our favorite name brands to budget friendly fast fashion brands. Whether you’re looking for a retro style bikini or a slimming style swimsuit, Amazon has you covered. Pick up some sunscreen and a fun floatie while you’re there.
Torrid
Torrid has long been one of my go-to places when I’m looking for on-trend plus sized fashion, and bathing suits are no different. They have every style of top and bottom that you can imagine, all in mix and match pieces. This means you can get the exact sizing you need, as we know many of us wear different sizes on the top and bottom. Many of the tops have cup sizing as well, for that perfect fit.
Lands’ End
This is a bit of a forgotten stop for plus size shopping, but Lands’ End offers a wide variety of their items in plus sizes, like bathing suits. If you’re looking for a more modest cut of a swimsuit, they have you covered. Items range from swim dresses to long and short sleeve rash guards, in addition to the regular swimwear pieces like bottoms and tankinis. Plus, these are made in the same cuts and fabrics as their regular sized line. They’re an even better deal when you catch one of Lands’ End’s great sales.
