The recall resulted in many Ford and Lincoln models manufactured between 2018 and 2024.
Notable Ford models include the Bronco Sport (2021-2024), F-150 (2019-2020), Mustang (2019-2023), Escape (2020-2022), and Transit Connect (2018-2022).Lincoln models affected include the Aviator (2020-2023), Continental (2019-2020), and Navigator (2020-2021).
There is a total of 200,061 vehicles part of this recall.
When Was the Recall Issued?
Ford officially announced this recall on July 2, 2025, after many vehicle owners reported problems and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) raised concerns.
