Boozy Cantaloupe Agua Fresca Cocktail Recipe

A great fruity drink that's been kicked up a notch or five. This cocktail is delicious on a warm day, and can be made into a mocktail too
  • 4 oz cantaloupe puree
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz tequila
  • 1 oz citron vodka
  • club soda
  • ice
  • Rim Salt
  • Mint Sprig
  1. Peel and seed your cantaloupe and cut into chunks. Larger chunks are fine.
  2. Place your cantaloupe chunks in a blender and pulse on puree until completely blended.
  3. Pour the cantaloupe puree through a strainer and discard the pulp.
  4. If you have a juicer, run the cantaloupe through the juicer instead.
  5. Add the cantaloupe puree juice, lime juice, simple syrup, tequila, and citron vodka to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until well combined.
  6. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip the rim in salt.
  7. Fill a salt rimmed glass with ice and strain the cantaloupe mixture over.
  8. Top with club soda.
  9. Garnish with a mint sprig.
