Ladies and gentlemen, the Style Council is in session – and they’re less than impressed by your laziness.
Today’s first motion lies in questioning your sheer lack of style. You make Woody Allen look like a fashionista by comparison. You’ve got dry skin to match your fried air, and the kind of dress that could melt people’s retinas, like the end of Indiana Jones.
The Style Council is less than impressed. Most of them can’t believe you leave the house looking like that. Others are just this side of publically denouncing you. And Cara Delevingne has had it up to here with your lack of eyebrow game.
But there are ways you can rehabilitate yourself in the eyes of the Council. We’ve been coming up with tips and tricks to help fashion victims everywhere – and they can really help you.
So why not give them a try, before this meeting is dismissed?
Wash and go
You’ve woken up in the morning looking like a mutant crab from outer space. But your problems won’t end with a simple wash, especially if you’re using the wrong products.
Begin your day with a Wen cleansing conditioner that will utilize an all-natural set of ingredients. Those standard high street conditioners you’ve been using simply won’t do the trick. Instead of revitalizing your hair, those chemicals and artificial additives will strip your follicles of their natural health.
These chemicals are harsh, and they can even promote hair loss at an early age. With a more organic wash routine in the morning, you’ll look more stylish before you’ve even hopped out of the shower.
DIY to style
Grace Jones, Vivienne Westwood, Karl Lagerfeld – they’re all members of the Style Council for a reason.
They’re courageous enough to hit the world of fashion on their own terms. No matter what they’re wearing, they’ll add their twist to it. Be it a few buttons, a hem or a simple addition of fabric, they can turn even the drabbest fashion into a new and exciting garment.
Take a page from their book. When you’ve purchased something beneath your expectations, don’t simply return it. Do as the Style Council would and add your own alterations. Now you have a piece that’s haute couture.
The seasons come and go, but you can stay steadfast in your style if you have your own sense of fashion.
Naturally, you’ll have to strike a neat balance between stylish and garish. But with Style Council approval, you’ll never step a foot wrong.
